I was curious if anyone would be able to lend some ideas as to why my voltage regulator likes to go on a \"ticking\" spree. Is that because it has too much load or not enough?? I'm thinking for some strange reason that its not enough load becuase when I turn the headlights on the \"ticking\" immediately stops! I am using an old battery out of my truck which I do not know the exact amperage so I don't know if that is maybe causing the problem or if it has something with the alternator. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
